About the Founder
Woodsen Plummer, founder of PL House Consulting, LLC, has 20 years of experience in the K-12 sector. He specializes in supporting the implementation of literacy best practices at all school levels and developing leadership to cultivate a positive school culture.
Throughout his career, Woodsen has served as a high school English teacher, instructional coach, academic data coach, and most recently, K-12 English Language Arts Content Coordinator. He provides training in foundational reading instruction and the Science of Reading, leads interdisciplinary curriculum writing, and facilitates professional learning to support ELA best practices. Additionally, he guides K–12 leaders in instructional leadership, culture development, and implementing effective learning solutions.
Woodsen is an active member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and the Georgia Council of Teachers of English (GCTE). He has provided professional learning through these organizations in literacy and instructional leadership.
